One from my Facebook profile...
As I'm in line at the local "Square L" getting my caffeine fix, one of the delivery drivers pulled in, and as usual, can't drive for shit. At least he didn't back into the building across the street this time
That is, until he was leaving. For some reason, he backed into the stop sign on the corner, bending it out towards the main road. Bending it enough, that someone coming up the main road...would have hit it
Not wanting to leave a potential accident site, the driver pulls his truck forward, drives around the block (amazingly without hitting something), and then stops on the main road. Not off to the side, like a *normal* person. Oh no! This tool, decided it would be better to leave his truck blocking traffic...as he attempted to "fix" the stop sign he'd mangled.
I should give him credit, since he at least was going to fix it. However, he should have quit while he was ahead. As he's trying to bend the sign's post back to vertical, the inevitable happened. He was levering the post back the other way, and it finally snapped. Or rather, the 'breakaway' section let go, tossing him backwards onto the sidewalk, with the sign on top of him
The cashier and I were laughing so hard, I nearly dropped my 32 ounces of Dew. That truly was the highlight of my day
