I got into the left hand turn lane on my way to work yesterday, and there were a few vehicles in front of me. We got the light, and the truck in front of me pulled out to make the turn, but then suddenly stopped, rolled the window down, stuck their arm out the window to flick the ash from their cigarette, then continued turning. Really, I mean REALLY? They couldn't have flicked it two seconds sooner, or used an ashtray inside, or flicked while driving? I have to say it's the first time I've seen this kind of idiocy. It's a good thing I don't follow closely, or I might have hit them and I know I'd automatically be at fault.

**Note, I have absolutely nothing against smokers. Just people who try to multitask and drive when they clearly don't have the ability.

I don't have a problem with smokers, just the pricks that think the state of Michigan is their personal ashtray. Of course they'll say that we can blame the automakers because they don't put ashtrays in their cars. But I call Bollocks to that...

Butt Buckets are extremely cheap, fit right in cup holders, and can hold many at a time.

Cars that don't have an ash-tray built in usually come with a portable ashtray very similar to a Butt Bucket, same size but with a flip-lid that fits in the cup-holder. (I work in the vehicle import/export industry so see lots of them, lol.)

Well anyways, how can you not manage to flick ash out the window while in a moving vehicle? Most times you don't even need to flick it as the wind would blow the loose ash itself off the cig. -_-

Or you can get Butt Bucket type things that will slot into the window beside you.

However, who the hell stops to flick their cig? Does the guy do the same thing while walking?
