OK, I can understand that you might have hobbies. You might have a passion for computers and therefore want to deck your car out with computer bumper stickers. YOu might be female and think that frangipani stickers are pretty so you stick them on your window (I am NOT doing that to the firemobile)

However, when you decide to stick an Australian flag directly across your back window, turning your car into a road hazard, I really do have to call stupidity.

(this was one of the huge ones you fly)

The flag is not very see-through.

I have a couple ones in my back window... however they are the "one way mirror" type, where i can see perfectly through them, just a little tinted.

I don't know what the laws are over there, but in California, you are perfectly within your right to completely obscure your rear window, provided you have both left and right side mirrors.

Of course, doing so gives any cop that wants to "check you out" the right to pull you over to make certain that you do have both mirrors...

Most places, really. After all, panel vans and larger don't even have windows back there to see through, and have to use the side mirrors exclusively.
