  • You're deaf, not blind!

Approached a 3-way stop. No cars to my left, to my right, just a cyclist. I presume he's going to, you know, follow the rules of the road and stop at the stop sign, so I proceed through the intersection. Oh, no, this cyclist looks right at me and coasts right through, forcing me to stop in the intersection.

I couldn't yell or honk to any purpose, though, because once I was behind him, I saw he was wearing a vest that said "Warning: I'm Deaf. Please Be Careful." Yeah, but you aren't blind, asshole!

Oh, you could still honk. I'm pretty sure most deaf people can feel a horn honking from closeby.

    ^-.-^

More like they should have been wearing a vest that said "I'm too dumb to know what a red octagon is. Beware of me!"

*nods* Being deaf, blind, etc does not mean that rules do not apply to you. Some people use such things as clubs to get treated 'special'.

Sounds like the sort of person who would have ignored the stop sign no matter what. Stupidity is one of the few Universal Constants.

My assumption is he is 100% healthy, and can hear, but found the vest in a thrift store and thought "Now i can be a dick and get away with it"
