We were behind a driver today. We approached the red light, and were in the right-turn lane. Cross-traffic was turning on a protected left, so this guy could have safely made a right-on-red turn when he reached the intersection.
First, he stopped about 6 feet away from the stop line. And sat there. And sat there.
"Oh, God," Hubby said. "He's just going to sit and wait for the light! He can go now, but he's going to wait!"
The protected left ends; cross traffic begins to move freely across. Guy ahead of us finally creeps up to the stop line. He creeps out a little further, a little further.
Slowly, he finally makes his move. Cue *SCREEEEEEEEE* *ANGRY HONK!* as he cut off a silver car and almost got T-boned. The lady flipped him off, but he drove off without even looking at her.
