Might as well type up the story. I am waiting for the cops to show up to get my statement.
I was parked at the mall, waiting for my wife/daughter to come out. Theres a red grand prix to the left of me, and to the left of that is an opening for traffic.
Im relaxing, listening to tunes and hear a *CRUNCH* and the grand prix moves over about six inches. I look up to see a blue truck that turned too sharp, and had caught the front bumper of the vehicle. They kind of slow down, then KEEP DRIVING! More crunching ensues, and they pull into the "road way" in front of my car, i assumed, to pull into another space and leave a note or something....nope. They Keep on going, i get out of my car and wave my arms at them, thinking they didnt notice...and they.....keep going lol.
Took down the license plate # on my phone, so it has a date/time stamp (thank you apple) and left a note on the girls car with my cell #.
I cant believe some people. If youre busted...then youre busted man, leave a note and do the decent thing, now you have a hit and run on your record, plus probably a drug test to see if you were under the influence.
