Some friends of mine were in an accident over a year ago because the other car didn't have any lights on, and it was a dark colored car. By the time the friend who was driving saw the car stalled on the freeway, it was too late and they ended up hitting that car. The other driver not only wasn't using headlights, when they stalled, they were too stupid to turn on the hazard lights. The person's insurance company tried to blame my friend, but the police report was in that friend's favor as it stated that the other car had no lights on. My friends also had an attorney as well, so that helped in their favor.
