So it snowed here where I live, like, two weeks ago. Before Christmas. Then it was cold. I still have packed snow and ice on my street. The city has yet to run a plow/salt truck down my road. This morning I was backing out of my driveway, and nearly ended up in the yard across the street. It was a total sheet of ice.
It was warm today, 40 degrees on my way home from work. I'm sure the street will be worse in the morning after it gets cold again tonight.
Why, why, why??? Why is my street the only one that requires a 4WD to navigate without sliding? I know they've run salt trucks down some of the other roads in my plat.
I don't want to play slip-n-slide anymore.
