So as i was driving to school at an intersection near my house that is actually famous for having been turned into a 4-way stop to curb the amount of wrecks that happened at it, I saw something that astounded me.

Coming across the bridge on the left side was a white van for some company that had a primarily blue logo. (some local thing, i think) As i was nearing the stop sign, the van makes a right turn. When I stopped, i looked in the rear view mirror in time to...

The van was turning behind me, across both lanes to make ANOTHER right turn and continue straight ahead.

Was he really THAT late that he would do something so idiotic?

Sounds like something that has happened to me:

"I turn here, right?"...."Oh, shit, wrong street."..."I hope no one notices that I turned right, made a u-turn, and another right, making me look like the idiot I am..."

As you'll see in the thread, I both admired their creativity and wished there was a cop there to nail their ass.

Been there, done that, and will do it again, so long as it's legal.

I actually have a left turn on the route home that I turn right one street early, travel down an alley, then turn left onto the street I need, so as to avoid the massive line-up in the left turn lane.

Honestly, everybody wins, so long as it's not done in a reckless manner. It's just a bit galling when you realize "I shoulda thought of that" after waiting in line.
