I was on my way home from a rather short second interview this morning and ended up behind a woman who would have been otherwise unremarkable (her driving was actually quite decent for this part of town) if it weren't for the fact that she was beating her head like a bongo.
Seriously. At first I had no idea what to make of it, then I saw a bit of movement in the seat behind her and thought she might have been entertaining a kid in the car. After the light turned and we started to move, she kept beating her head, but with only one hand. This continued for the 3 miles I was behind her. I tried to get along side her to see what was going on, but the only time I was successful was when I had to turn left and she changed lanes to the right, putting a pickup truck between us.
I almost wonder if her head was on fire (y'know, invisible fire), or if this were some manifestation of Tourette's, or if she's just another religious fanatic and Jesus is playing a cruel game of Simon Says...
