When I was out running errands, had these lovely experiences today......
I'm hungry, damnit
Someone in the drivethrough who had such a large order that even though there was nobody in front of or behind them when they placed the order, there were 4 cars waiting at least 5 minutes in the drivethrough before the guy even got his food! If your order is going to take that long, GO INSIDE.
Parking lot suck
I pull into a lot that has a slightly strange setup and it is even harder to navigate since there are still large mounds of snow that block some of the aisles at one end. I turn in behind someone in an aisle and he is over on the left side of a two-way aisle. Maybe waiting for someone to pull out of a spot on his right?
No. He's sitting there. I barely am in the aisle but at an angle that backing out would not be prudent. There is another car facing the opposite direction in her part of the aisle so this guy is right in her path. Another car is in the main aisle waiting to go down the one I am in and he's stuck too.
All of us beep. Asshole apparently thinks he's ok to park in the aisle and doesn't move. The guy in the main aisle behind me get out to go talk to him to inform him he can't just block everyone and luckily I'm able to maneuver my way into a handicapped space to turn around and go down a different aisle. As I walk through the first aisle to get to my destination, he's still just sitting in his car, at least in a legal parking space. Really, could you be any more oblivious and entitled?
Was that really fucking necessary
On my way home and I'm in the left of 3 lanes on the highway with someone behind me tailgating. Traffic isn't heavy but I am going faster than the traffic in the center lane. Eventually I end up going much faster than I like to on that stretch (no tickets, please!) to get around the bus next to me and change lanes into the center to allow the jerk behind me to pass.
But he doesn't. He gets right behind me in the center lane and is still tailgating. So I do a quick brakecheck on him and he moves over into the right lane - which is exiting onto a different highway in less than 1/4 of a mile, apparently where he wanted to go. While the passenger in the back seat is flipping me off.
There was NO reason for him to have been behind me all of that time. He was behind me in the left lane for several minutes and traffic would have allowed him many, many chances to move into the center and then even the right lane where he wanted to be eventually anyway!
Really dude? You want to play that game? Given what my job is, I know exactly how to describe an accident to make sure you take 100% of the blame for your stupid actions. You're just lucky I love my car so much, even if so many things are starting to go wrong with it!
