Well, I'm sure we've all seen the Hurry up it's yellow driver. It's the driver that slams on the accelerator to beat the yellow light instead of slowing down like they should. Even worse than these are the Hurry up it's yellow AND I'm turning driver. Still worse is: Hurry up it's yellow AND I'm turning driver and I have no room! Oops!
Case in point: I was waiting at the far most right hand side at a red light. The green left turn light went on, signaling for the drivers to make a left turn. At this particular intersection, it only turns on for a short while cuz it's busy with lots of pedestrians crossing too. Well, there was a looong line of left turners, and even when it was yellow they were ALL driving like manaics to beat the light. Dumbasses.
The worst dumbass was this Stupid Girl who was at the very last, meaning she turned on a red. Usually the drivers know this and pause to let the last of them go by. Whatever right?
Well on the street she was turning into there's this practically always a red light. So what happened? The cars, with Stupid Girl in the rear, gathered up and she couldn't clear the road and ended up with her Stupid Car in front of mine.
My light was now green. Stupid Girl's Stupid Car didn't move cuz she couldn't move, her light was still red and she had no room. What a dumbass. I honked my horn, making gestures at her to move and to signal what a dumbass she was, she just glanced at me nervously and honked her own horn, scaring the crap out of a lady that was walking in front.
Finally her light changed and her Stupid Car moved out of my way. By then my light had turned red again.

    Can't reason with the unreasonable.

Had one of these behind me one day last summer.
As I was coming to an intersection that is almost always green in my direction, the light had just turned yellow. Before the light, there is a warning sign that flashes when the intersection lights turn yellow then red.

As I approached the intersection, I thought I had enough time to beat the light, then decided that no, I didn't. (Wasn't speeding, didn't increase speed, was just too far back to safely beat the light.)
There was a car behind me that was following quite closely, I tapped my brakes a couple times before holding the pedal down to stop.
With how close the car was behind me, I didn't think it was going to be able to stop in time. I remember thinking that thiis is going to suck and trying to relax as much as possible to minimize any damage to me/my back.

After a few seconds with no impact, no squealing brakes, etc, I check my mirrors to see where the other car was. Took me more seconds then it should have to realize that the reason the car behind me didn't look right was because its passenger side headlight was about even with the drivers side back wheel-well on my car.

The kicker for me during this was the very first car on the other side of the intersection was a police car, which didn't do anything. Don't think he even wagged his finger at the other car.

Of course, as soon as the light turned green, the other car went right back to trying to become one with my back bumper/make me go faster.

Hey, I think that car did the same thing to ME! Nice clear day in a 40mph zone too. No clue what the rush was or why he seemed to almost lose control.
