Friend of mine told me this story and I had to 
He's in a friend's car, with another guy in the back seat, they're driving down the road and approach a stop light. An old, beat-up station wagon is sitting at the light, smoking pretty badly. They're laughing, and pull up next to the station wagon, which begins to smoke even more. It gets so bad they can barely see. They just keep laughing and making fun at the poor guy in the station wagon.
So, the light changes, and the station wagon toodles down the road still smoking; but there's still a cloud of smoke around their car and when the guy hits the gas the smoke INCREASES. They pull over and jump out, and their car's on fire!
Turned out a brake line had popped loose and sprayed the engine compartment with brake fluid. It burned the guy's love and joy badly; took him two years to get it back on the road.
Now there's karma for ya.
