So walking to the Y there's an exit from the mall that has 2 left turn lanes and a right turn lane with a concrete median between them, no straight from there. There was a car in the left most lane that decided he needed to go right. He was so intent on looking at oncoming traffic to make his illegal right turn that he almost hit me as I was in the crosswalk. I hit his truck with my purse and cursed at him a bit. He still made the right turn. I just wish there had been a cop around at that time.

There is an intersection like that outside my work. I go out our front doors, and directly across the street is a parking lot for the building there. I have to go right a few yards to go the pedestrian crosswalk, which now puts the entry/exit to the parking lot slightly to my left. You are only supposed to turn right coming out of that lot, which is going away from me. But of course every once in a while a douchebag has to do an illegal left turn and almost hit me as I'm crossing the damn street.
