Two rooms for the price of one

I have worked the night audit shift at various hotels over the last twenty years. This incident happened several years back.

I had a guest come to me one night and said that the room they were in had some problems and hey could they just switch rooms? I complied and made her new keys for a different room.

So one would expect that the first room would have been vacated but a check later by our security staff confirmed that there were still people in the room.

So our would be scammer only wanted an extra free room and in the end got charged for both rooms. hee hee.
