    I personally work in a facility that makes food for larger animals (think cattle, horses, sheep, goats, and then also for rabbits). One of our sister mills make the dog/cat foods. While I know what ingredients are bought and received in and know what quality we demand, I still ain't eatin' no dog treat or dog food! Even people safe, our ingredients come out the bottom (generally) of a trailer and into a pit before the computer tells the system which bin the product goes into. I've stood there and watched the drivers unloading and spit right into the pit! Nasty!

      Reminds me of when my sister had a summer job at a nearby boarding place for animals, and claimed she caught a co-worker eating dog food one day. (not sure if it was the dry or the wet kind)

        While you probably could get away with eating doggie treats, I have a feeling that those warnings of "not for human consumption" on the bags are there for a reason But seriously, there are some strange people in that neighborhood, several of whom I've posted about before...
