Had this gem of a call just a few minutes ago. SC claims that someone in the morning quoted a much lower rate than we're allowed. Of course she didn't remember the name of the person she spoke to. Of course she didn't book a room when she called. I simply told her that I'm not personally authorized to go that low, but we can adjust it any time. She didn't take me up on the offer. I wonder why.

Bonus points: I originally managed to type "somebody" as "SUMOBODY".
