I don't get it. They actually...? Spicy tomatoes...?

Grow a habanero or bhut jolokia next to a tomato plant, I f*cking dare you!
I'm reminded of a Rooster Teeth video where two of their employees, Miles Luna and Michael "Rage Quit" Jones, ate a ghost pepper each.

Burnie later eats one too, but he runs off to be miserable after doing so. Miles expresses a lot of pain, while Michael just seems indifferent about it.

Chili peppers are also part of the nightshade family. And for that matter, tomato greens are already a hazard.

Actually, I wasn't thinking about hot peppers. Tomatoes are members of the Nightshade family, if that gives you a hint.

DGoddessChardonnay - Might I suggest Ghost Peppers instead? Though I don't know if they would mix in as effectively.

Here are some other alternatives, in case the peppers don't quite get the intended effect :

Naga Viper, Trinidad Scorpion Butch T, Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, Smokin’ Ed’s Carolina Reaper. Warning : Use of these might actually cause serious harm..be careful.

I hope his "tomatoes" turn out to have accidentally crossbred with another member of the family, with the results you could expect from the fruit expressing a trait that's VERY common in the family.
And I am suddenly reminded of the time my stepdad planted the garden and put the jalopenos next to the radishes. Grandma warned him not to do that, but he (and ol' Miller High Life) he'd do it anyway, it'd be all right.

Imagine his surprise when the radishes came in and he went and got one, wiped it off, took a bite and yelled "GOD-DAAAAMM!!"

My Grandma laughed at him so hard and told him "I told you that would happen, but you listened to that can of Miller instead of me."

Bet something similar would happen if one planted jalopenos by the tomatoes. . .

Facing a possible shortage of fresh grown tomatoes is an emergency.

But it's one that can wait 45 minutes.
    Hmmm...fresh grown garden tomatoes... *drool*

That guy is a narcissistic rat bastard though. I can't stand people who think they are so special that rules, hours, etc, don't apply to them.

I hope y'all at least got overtime out of it, and I hope his tomatoes get worms.
