If they like, I can join your claims manager with my assortment of... ahem... enhanced interrogation tools. Let me check:

    Thumbscrews... check.
    Whip... check.
    Accordion... check.
    Central American cuisine... check.

I have oreos and a bottle of finest vodka. Who wants some? Got the booze off a mate down the pub.

My claims manager sent him an email on Friday with some VERY general outlines of what we will be asking. This interview is going on as I type.
VERY general? I somehow don't think that's going to help Mr. Wheresmycar get his lies story together in time.

Shame on your company - shame, shame, shame!

I'm here with the chips and tomato free salsa. Where's Jester. We're gonna need a good bartender for this show.
    Late to the party.

But if you think I'm working during all this, your nuts.

I did, however, bring a cooler full of quality beer (so if you want Bud Light, you're screwed), and a couple of bottles of rum for y'all to enjoy.

So we asked Mr Wheresmycar why he didn't want ot meet with the investigator. He has given a non-response, but esentially agreed that he just wants an 'outline' of what is being discussed.
In SC this translates to "I want to know what _you_ know so I can get _my_ lie story together..."

Methinks he'll be telling his story to the police soon, and an epic tale of woe it will be!

For many years (before the patent expired), the (Canadian) inventor refused to license them to manufacturers outside Canada. The screwdriver bit and the socket are both tapered slightly so the screw won't fall off the driver (great for one-handed starting while holding the workpiece with your other hand). Also (doesn't apply to interchangeable-bit screwdrivers for obvious reasons, but now some of the interchangeable bits are coming out in colours) the handles are colour-coded to show the bit size.

"Robertson" is a Canadian-designed (and not seen much outside the country) screw head with a square socket for the screwdriver.
This makes me sad, they are far superior in function to most other types I've used especially Philips and slotted. We need to start a campaign to bring these to the world!

For those of you in Yankee-land, "Robertson" is a Canadian-designed (and not seen much outside the country) screw head with a square socket for the screwdriver.
Most apartment house intercom panels in Manhattan use Robertson screws, for some odd reason. I don't think they're made in Canada. Maybe they just chose an obscure screwhead to prevent pranksters from screwing around with the nameplates and apartment numbers.
