For me, as a guy, I have gone into a female multi-person washroom once, by mistake.

I once *THOUGHT* I went into the wrong washroom by mistake (Petro where they have the "no door" zig-zag, both are accessed from the same alcove - men turn one way, women the other). I got into the washroom, and a woman was there. I immediately left and double-checked the sign, then went back in. Asked her "Do you realize you are in the men's washroom?" She looked around, saw the urinals, and left.
