There's also the option that if he's that clueless about some foods that are animal products (the egg whites, the bleu cheese), then he may also be one of those "vegans" who's like, "Oh, but they must have a ton of vegan options, right? Everyone does!" or "I liked eating there two years ago (before I became vegan), so I'll just go there again!" (forgetting that the reason they liked it two years ago was because they were still eating meat at the time.
I have a college friend who says she's vegan even though she isn't (by choice) just to make things easy, because she has enough allergies and other food sensitivities that she basically needs a vegan diet anyway so as to not die. Things like sensitivities to meat products and eggs, straight-up milk allergy, etc. It was a running gag at school to keep a list of "Foods that won't try to kill [Friend].""Enough expository banter. It's time we fight like men. And ladies. And ladies who dress like men. For Gilgamesh...IT'S MORPHING TIME!"

Oh, dear <diety>, Ice Milk. That stuff is a travesty, an offense against the very existence of proper frozen quiescent concoctions. I would go so far as to call it "The Anti-Gelato." *shudder*"For a musician, the SNES sound engine is like using Crayola Crayons. Quoth Valentinian View PostThe ones that cause me the most problems trying to avoid them are ... garlic.“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.
One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.
The other, of course, involves orcs." -- John Rogers

Quoth Nunavut Pants View PostI feel for you on that one. I am sensitive to garlic, and can only eat it in small amounts without experiencing lots of discomfort. Which can sometimes cause me to question if living without garlic is actually living at all...
