  • Lady why the hell do you think we print newspapers?

We're going to be doing a listing of summer camps in the area. These are paid ads.

There was a promo in the paper about it.

Cue an old lady who called this morning to demand that one of my CW's give her names and numbers of summer camps because "I have to get my granddaughter signed up right away!"

First off, the section is not printed yet!

Second, most of the advertisers haven't even gotten their info to us yet! (Love those last-minute customers...not).

Third - BUY THE PAPER NEXT WEEK!!! That's why we print one every day!!
When you start at zero, everything's progress.

Don't you know the newspaper is supposed to solve any and all local problems? As for "buying the newspaper," well, it's clear you are just out to make money and don't care anything about anyone!

(A lot of my callers seem to think "freedom of the press" means "the press" will do whatever they want ... for free.)

Or you could use Gizoogle and die laughing.

MonnCat, I am not even going to tell you what that site translated your name to.

Oh tell me, I've been around long enough that very little shocks me any more
