    I like how the price he got was actually higher than the price you offered when he asked for a discount. Fails all around.

    I get this "logic" at my work, too. Specifically, we have two different types of fleece that are solid colors. One is slightly more expensive than the other. (by $1 per yard) Say the local team hand egg team is winning. We might run out of one of the colors, lime green, in the cheaper fabric. I get a LOT of people asking me if I can give them the more expensive lime green fleece for the price of the cheaper one just because we temporarily ran out of the cheap one.
    Replace anger management with stupidity management.
