I'm tech-savvy, but my mother's generation is not (with one or two exceptions). I'm pushing 60, which means mom's group is in their 80s. While I thank the deities every day that so many of them are still alive, it is frustrating that they choose not to move on. On the other hand, I can understand it ... these are people that lived through the Great Depression and second World War. The fact that they are even willing to get online is amazing! One of my great aunts, age 96, even has a Facebook account - granted she doesn't post, but she checks it!
If you think about all that generation has seen in almost a century, change is scary for them! So, yeah, I'm a proud AOL user. In fact, I volunteered for AOL as a chat room host (remember those?) for 10 years!
