Damn. Everyone I've dealt with recently as a consumer has treated me with respect.

I suppose "no story is a good story" can be applied here.

Ow! I just sprained my perception....

I think the worst thing I've done was walk up to a register without looking at the light. She was closed and I apologized for it. I was about to walk away to find another lane that was open when she told me she can check me out. I thought that was nice of her. And I should've known better...being a fellow walmart employee at the time.

I think the biggest annoyance happened in a resturant recently. There was a new resturant in the mall not far from where I lived. My friend wanted to go out to supper and I suggested we give this place a try. Our waiter came up to us, asked what drinks we wanted. Came back with the drinks and we asked him a few questions about the menu. He was new and didn't know and got someone right to us who did. Then we ordered our appetizers then our waiter went POOF.

And we waited...and waited....waited some more. An hour later....no appetizers. Hell we haven't even ordered the main course yet because the waiter never came back. And it wasn't busy AT ALL. It was mostly empty in there. Eventually he came back (with no appetizers) and we told him to just forget it. Just wanted him to give us the bill for our drinks...which we ended up getting for free. We weren't rude and nasty with him about it, but I think he saw our frustration. We decided to go to a Pizza Hut resturant afterwards, who had our meal out to us 15 minutes after we arrived.

And we waited...and waited....waited some more. An hour later....no appetizers.

There is no way in hell I would wait an hour for appetizers. I would have been chatting to the manager at that point.
