I burst out crying, the manager saw and threw the guy out. I walked out the bar as well and sat at one of the tables outside, crying my eyes out. A customer walks up to me. He can quite clearly see I am distressed.

You asked three times for the guy to move to another subject. I'm glad your manager gave him the boot for being an insensitive jerk.

Manager basically told him to fuck off.

I was having a really bad day. A friend who I thought more of basically told me I was embarassing him because I was "associating with a prisoner" and tried to get me to chose. Let's just say he was left stunned when I told him to have a nice life, and I was left very upset.

I have no idea why your friend is in prison, but every situation I've known the details for where someone told a person to choose between staying friends with someone considered "undesirable" and the instigator, the instigator has nearly always been the one told to "have a nice life." What is it with people who can't accept that their friends might be able to maintain friendships with people they can't?

Manager: Your wife was being an anal probe. There's your explanation.

I love my manager.
