Oh yeah being self employed is fun. Noone to report to, work on your own pace, if things screw up not too far to look, can deal with customers/clients/whatever you want to call them in the manner best suited to their attitudes.
Whats really funny is this guy was only like the second person I've had an issue with. Having said that I've probably zoinked myself but oh well.
As for the gender of a person I'm talkign to. I dont care whats in their pants its whats in their head that matters. If they know what their talkign about and are the ones I need to talk to then by golly guess what thats who I talk to. Too bad more people cant realize that. I personally know2 female truck drivers, farm/country women are not exactly soft ignorant girly mushes, one of the females from my high school class is a NHRA Drag Car race driver, one of the feed stores I deal with is family owned so the wife runs the place doing all the office paper and government stuff while the husband does the lifting and grunt work. But she can get out there and toss a hay bale or truck load with the guys when need be.
I drove by where the guy lived today as it was on the way to another job nearby. Apparently one of the farms in the area got sold (its on a part of the couty I dont deal with as its towards cincy and I usually pay attention away from cincy side) and they are turning it into noodle farms. (So called because they are 5 acre long 1 acre wide lots, the minimum zoning will allow.) The guys house was this big cookie cutter house (the 2 story from holiday homes) that was set back from the road a ways. There was a lincoln blackwood (The lincoln pickup, basically a fancified f150) in the driveway and some fancy yard decorations so yeah city guy moving to the country to try and be a "farmer" I bet. At least the person who I worked for today was nice. They had moved out from cincy as well but they are trying to assimilate into the country a bit more than some do.
And smiley. heheh Yeah I'ma company but not a company. A company of one.
