Movie rental woes

    Movie rental woes

    I work at a movie rental store lets call it "Movie Mansion". I have only worked there for about a month so I am still learning some of the procedures. Well last week this guy comes in hangs around a bit looking at movies picks four then comes to the counter. So I pull up his account and see that he has four movies out each is a day late. I inform him that I can't rent him anymore movies till he returns the ones he has. The incident goes as follows

    SC- "There is nothing you can't do, now rent me the movies."
    Me- "Sir, I can't..."
    SC- "Yes you can."
    Me- "No, Its against..."
    SC- "You can do anything you want. What can't you do?"
    Me- "I can't..."
    SC- "Yes you can, they have done it before."
    Me- "Sir, I don't know who "they" are, but I am not going to ring you up till the movies are returned."

    He then asks for another employee who then tells him the same thing and gets him to leave.

        I'm thinking REALLY crappy attempt at a Jedi Mind trick, but that is a massive fail.

                        But back to the OT when I worked at a video store I always wanted to pay off their fees in return for banning them for life at every and any video store ever!
