"You're travelling through another dimension. A dimension, not only of sight and sound, but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Next stop, the Twilight Zone!"
Help I'm stepping into the twilight zone.
Place is a mad house. Feels like being cloned. My beacon's been moved under moon and star. Where am I to go now that I've gone too far?

It's in times like these that I take solace in the fact that somewhere, in a parallel universe, someone keeps calling Tony's Wrecker Service trying to book a room.

*New accent* Well, sir, the reason the employee can't help you is because she's not an employee. This is not a bank. I'm being rude because you're an idiot. Idiocy is calling the second time, you moron. Well, fuck you too."
For some reason, I'm imagining the voice of Apu from The Simpsons in place of that "new accent".

I'm no longer nice to the people... I got a call that went like this yesterday.
Actually, you sound like you're being incredibly nice. I would have started cursing when he called back the second time...or if I was awake enough, strung him along for a few minutes. "I'm sorry, sir, but all of our computers are down so I can't help with you with that. No really, all of our computers crashed. That's what we get for running Windows. Sure, you can speak to my supervisor. *New accent* Well, sir, the reason the employee can't help you is because she's not an employee. This is not a bank. I'm being rude because you're an idiot. Idiocy is calling the second time, you moron. Well, fuck you too."

My new home number is the same as the customer service number for a large bank in my area. to get the bank, you have to dial 1-800 first, but of course people don't. I now get calls all through the night of people, and have had to change the voicemail message to say "to reach *blah* bank, dial 1800 first".

I'm no longer nice to the people... I got a call that went like this yesterday.

    Me:Hello?
    SC:Is this *blah* bank?
Me: You have to dial 1-800 first...
    SC:So you can't help me?
Me: No, I'm not with the bank, you called my home number.
SC:But I need to get this done! What's they're number?
    Me: *gives number*
SC: That's what I called, you HAVE to help me!
Me:*twitchtwitch*Dial 1-800 first. *hangs up phone*

    Minutes later...
    Me:Hello?
SC:I just called and spoke with an employee who was incredibly rude.
Me: You have to dial 1-800 first, this isn't a bank. *hangs up*

    Minutes later..
Me: *checks caller ID* Oh fuck it, no!!!! *runs and hides in bedroom, phones in the kitchen* Make it stop...

OT but that is a sweet wrecker!

On Topic; there number doesn't even resemble the hotels!
I couldn't find a web site for the Tony's Wrecker Service in Houston, and I liked the awesome wrecker.

Is the number for Tony's in Houston closer to the Hotels?

Soon we'll have someone from Tony's Wrecker Service complain about the guy calling up to reserve a hotel room.

(Wow! Check out the wrecker on Tony's home page.)

    Don't bet on it.

While I do think the guy did hit redial, I can 'touch-type' phone numbers just about as quickly as I 10-key.

    ^-.-^

That's what I think too Becky, because there's no way you can dial the same number that you've supposedly never dialed before, that fast.

Sorry to rain on the fun parade here, but I'll bet money that the guy hit the redial button.
