So the freight boat comes in today, about fifteen minutes late. It was somewhat choppy in the sound, as the deck freight deck was wet. Anyways, as we are attaching the ramp cables to the boat, this big,burly trucker comes up to my colleagues and starts cussing them out. He said something along the lines of:
Because of your captain's lack of judgement, MY TRUCK IS COATED WITH SALT! I HAVE A RIGHT MIND TO HAVE YOU ALL FECKING FIRED! i'M NEVER USING THE STEAMSHIP AUTHORITY AGAIN! YOU ASSHOLES MESSED MY TRUCK UP!
Good luck trying to find another boat line. We're the only ones who serve the vehicular needs of Cape and Islanders.
