Lawyers? Twice in a week?!

This is shaping up to be a fun one. I can't give details until I get permission from the higher-ups to make a stink, but ANOTHER of my blogs (on a different site) has managed to cause a ruckus. I must be doing something right!

Received a very poorly spelled cease and desist letter from a rehabilitation facility after I linked in a blog post to someone on a well-known forum claiming to have been mistreated at said facility. Despite that it is an exact quote, sourced properly, and I also presented the other side (the facility is generally highly regarded, and found a person from the same forum with a GOOD experience there to quote as well), and that it is NOT an opinion piece but merely a news piece covering an interesting perspective on a major news story, this facility feels they have the right to sic their lawyers on me if I don't pull the post down.

Awesome Boss Lady says that I should not only ignore their request, but also publish it and make a big stink about them being bullies. Cool Boss Man is considering ABL's proposal.

Saydrah, can you PM me a link to your blog please? I have a vested interest in keeping up with facilities like this, now that my father is in one for the rest of his life.

I've been looking for sites that people can and do post reviews, good and/or bad, I'd be interested.

And if you end up in Jail, I'll come visit.
