I too get the thing about arriving on time. I am a delivery driver and people get mad at me just because we get their stuff to their house either (gods forbid) early or just in time.

but then heavens help us if we are just 1 minute late.

But how the hech do you rip someone off by charging less money than what they originally agreed to pay?

I'd probably have a brain to mouth filter failure, and say just that, right to the customer's face.

As everyone has said, there's just no pleasing some people. They just want something to complain about!

I say good for you for having his order hot and ready to go right when he said he'd be back. What would he rather you do -- have it done at 6 and let it get cold?

Thanks for the great welcome guys and gals! *wanders over and grabs some cookies* My boss truely is awesome, he is well known in our town and he's also my stepfather. LOL I have to say this is not first time someone has complained about food being on time or early. One woman complained because the food took 5 mins instead of 15. (we had an order, the same as hers, ready to go and the customer for that was running late) Strange, very strange.


I love this forum. I feel at home already.
