*Yeah, I'm predicting it will happen at some point. I can even think of a couple of different ways to work it into the show.
If they do it then it'll be a movie, they'll be able to afford a decent CGI crew then 'cos they need to do it justice

    *spoiler*
And OMFG!! Giant steampunk cyberman. You don't want know how many geek butttons that pushed for me...

(Yeah, I know, he must've escaped the Time War somehow, or maybe the Doctor retires and becomes Santa Claus...)
Not really. He could be coming from a time before the Time War happened. Or from the far-flung future after the Doctor (or a companion!) negates the events that caused the Time Lords to die in the Time War*. Isn't time travel fun?

Clearly, Santa is an anime character.

    Or Superman. Or the Flash.

One of the three. How else could he do it all in one night?
He's a Time Lord, and his sleigh is a disguised TARDIS!

Nope, he's Santa. Even Superman can't measure up to THAT standard.

Sorry, I couldn't help it. That commercial cracks me up more than any of the others.

    Blame Coke

If only it was that easy to blame the elixir of caffiene for the evil of our current santa Icon.
Kay can we move the racism people to the bible belts in saskatchewan so they can get trained well.

How long has it been since we had Polar Bears and Penguins. I miss them.

Cause a Polar Bear has a huge cock and balls to protect. They probably didn't need protection that big....

The Baby Jesus brings presents to children in the Czech Republic, too. Every December, at the beginning of the month, there is a day called "Mikulas" (Nicholas), when three people dressed as an angel, a devil, and a skinny St. Nicholas go around talking to children and asking them what they want. Some of them hire themselves out to parents with children so that the father of the family doesn't have to play the Nicholas role and get caught out by the kids.

    A black Santa?

I think that, like a lot of things in an increasingly multicultural world, ideas are adapted to local traditions and tastes, and why shouldn't they be? The early Christian church began in what is essentially the Middle East, and yet look at nearly every painting of JC in existance, and you see European features. In Japan I saw statues of the traditional saints, and they had Asian facial features. In Bali I went to a McDonalds that had a statue of a decidedly Asian Ronald at the front door. So, why not a black Santa?

Seriously, though, I still don't understand why the polar bear cup wouldn't have worked.

I wonder what this lady would think if the cups had the different "Santa Claus" figures from around the world... or the REAL St Nicholas of Myra?

    Just a few:
    Joulupukki-- Finland
    Pere Noel-- France
Babbo Natale & La Befana-- Italy
    Hoteisho-- Japan
    Father Christmas-- Scotland
    Jultomten-- Sweden
    Papa Noel-- Spain
Ded Moroz (Father Frost)-- Yugoslavia (he delivers presents on New Years Day)

In certain parts of Latin America, children are told that Santa Claus makes the toys, but Baby Jesus delivers them.
