Wow. Just Wow.

Ummm... don't most car rental / tour agencies also offer rental GPS units for just a few bucks more? If this SC was _that_ 'navigationally challenged' maybe he shouldn't have been allowed behind the wheel of a car in the first place?

Guest: Dave, I am livid....I was given the wrong directions to the aquarium and I want money for the gas I had to spend on the wrong directions your asshole coworker gave me

Me: well I am afraid the managers have gone home but you can leave a voicemail if you want

Guest: well who do you call in an emergency

Me: you being given the wrong directions is not an emergency

Guest: well then I wanna cancel my reservation right now. I want a full refund plus an additional 10% for this night from hell

Me: ok but only a manager can approve that

Guest: I APPROVED IT

Me: sorry but you will have to wait until tommorow

Guest: If you're trying to make me angry, you're doing a good job....give me the phone number to your manager, I will call the SOB myself

Guest: give me the GD number now

Me: I'm not giving you the manager's number

Guest: you give me that number or there is going to be hell to pay when I get to the office

(unknown to guest, we now close at 8 and by the time he got there, we were closed and I was gone but I heard about him the next day)
