So, I took a call yesterday...
Me: "Thank you for holding, this is MiddleofNowhere, how may I help you?'
Customer: "Yeah, I'm looking for a coat...it's white and quilted"
Me: **thinking we have at least a dozen coat styles that are white and quilted**
Okay, do you know the brand name?
Customer: "No, but it's white and quilted and longer"
Me: **grasping at that little nugget** 'Okay! Longer as in a full length, knee length or past the hips?'
Customer: "Hmmm... not sure, just longer"
Me: **getting frustrated** 'Okay, Ma'am. Does the coat have a hood or belt?' **thinking that will narrow it down quite a bit**
Customer: "Ummm, I didn't look at that."
Me: **GRRRRRR!!!!** 'Okay, Ma'am. When did you see it in our store? Do you remember what section you saw it in?'
Customer: "Oh. I didn't see it in your store. A lady was walking in it and I liked it. I just figured it came from you guys."
Me: 'Well, unfortunately ma'am, I can't tell you whether we have that exact coat but please come on in and see our selection.
Customer: "Oh, it's too far to drive there" *click*
