He probably picks female cashiers because he thoroughly enjoys picking on and bullying them. If he has a wife, he likely beats her.
Actually, my guess is that his wife beats him, which is why he's never violent but merely abusive towards the women he meets.

Problem is, we just want him to pay and get the hell out. If we refuse to serve him, he'll only stick around longer. -.-

Can you and the other women there refuse to help him?

Well, in any case, I can't imagine that it was the first time he's ever heard the phrase "You need to put it in further, or else it won't work" from a woman.

Although I'd feel sorry for any woman that got that far with him...

Ah, no Protege, he's already proven he's a dick.

Lace, you could always mind-fuck him. A simple question like "So, tell me, does being rude always get you what you want?" might get him to back off. Depending on your boss (and job security, you could change the wording... say to "Being a rude obnoxious prick.."). IF the former, you're not being rude or offensive (though he may try to call you that.. I"m sure you've got the mics and video inside...), but still hit right to the main problem.

    Son of a bitch....

Of course you realize that it would require him to *have* one in the first place...

*snicker* There goes my coffee. XD

Luckily, he doesn't come in every day, or even every week.

True. One of the night managers (or "rent-a-managers" as we often called them) tried jumping down my throat because I didn't find the time to work his aisle for him. I wasn't in the mood at all, and I gave it right back to him ten-fold. He backed down pretty quick after that, and he never tried to get me to do his work for him again.
Standing up to passive-aggressive bullies works, too.

I mentioned a while back in my Ol' Scarface thread that OS liked to pass off work onto other people. Well, after she was transferred to overnights, she tried to do the same thing to the night crew, who saw right through her crap and told her to do it herself, they had work of their own to do.

As I understand it, she very quickly shut up and got to work.

We are mind twins. Except my wording went along the lines of "That's what she said."

I'm so glad I decided NOT to take a drink of my water at that moment.

Yell at him. Bullies don't like it when people stand up to them.

    ^ Legit LOL to that.

What about telling management that he is verbally threatening and you fear it may escalate?

That is, if you're sure you'd be able to keep your job afterward.

Oh, I'd make up a reason if I had to with someone that horrible. Of course, I'm one of those people that will look for any way to push back against jerks like that, but not make it seem like I'm targeting them with my own frustrations.
