It's not really an SC, in that it's not a customer, but some guy once blocked the entrance to church.

It was Easter Sunday, and I was going there with my parents. All was going fine, when suddenly the traffic stopped. Turns out some guy wanted a primo parking place, so he decided to stop right at the end of the driveway and wait for the earlier mass to let out, blocking all the cars behind him. It took about ten minutes to convince the guy to move.

We have some bad luck with our newspaper parking lot, too. We're up the street from the local theatre so when they do shows, people decide to clump up in OUR private lot (despite all the signs that say "no parking").

So, one day I decided to take it upon myself to print off a few dozen fliers reading "We have written down your license plate number. If you park in our lot again without working here, we will publish it on the front page under the headline "Illiteracy in *area*" Thank you for your interest in *paper*!"

Illegal parking has gone down quite a bit lately for some reason...

Or when the pedistrians assume they have the right away and just walk RIGHT IN FRONT OF your car... Not a good thing to do.
I feel your pain. I had a moron step out right in front of me when I was riding my motorbike out the carpark; I came to a halt next to him as I was able to swerve around him. I then shouted, "If I was driving a car, you'd be dead by now!" at him, he bleated pathetically, "But I didn't see you." To which I replied, "Then try looking, moron!" and drove off. I mean, please. 5 year olds know the green cross code, why don't most adults? The same rules apply for carparks.

Legally, on all public roads and highways in the UK - save for motorways - pedestrians do have the right of way.

However, an eighteen ton truck has right of weight and a much longer stopping distance than skateboard.

The ones who like to back up to get into the spot they missed full knowing that there are at least ten other cars behind them.
I hate that! I also hate the ones who just stop and wait for someone to pull out of their spot, thereby blocking all the cars behind them, and usually making one of us late for work.

It's the same here in the States. However, that's one issue that I wouldn't want to force as a pedestrian against a big, fast-moving hunk of metal.

Exactly. I've had pedestrians do that tho; thank flip I can swerve around their dumb asses, but the bus behind me can't! Why are some people determined to end up either in Casualty or the morgue?

They aren't looking for either of that, they are more looking for an excuse to sue. It's either that, or they are stupider, and I mean stupider than we think and they do these things.

I dont think it's like that outside of crosswalks. Most places you can get ticketed for jaywalking.
