I'm just waiting on a customer to pull the "I make more money than you" bullshit. A couple of weeks ago I got a SMOKING deal on an 04 Mercedes CLK. So now I can say "really is that why you just drive a BMW?"

Unfortunately, if the information is incorrect and the customer finds out, there's a possibility of legal repercussions against the store.Quoth Nyoibo View PostHell, if a lie keeps the shoplifters out or honest who cares?"Sigh, I'm going to Hell.....but I'm going with a smile on my face." -- Gravekeeper

You don't have to be gay to be a male and have a purpose for stealing women's lingerie. You could, after all, use it as gifts to other young ladies. I know that that is what I, a straight male, would do with lingerie. And yes, I have shopped at Victoria's Secret and Frederick's of Hollywood for just that purpose, thank you very much.Quoth M47 View PostI'm a guy, and the bag is from Victoria Secret,
am I gonna do w/ women's lingerie...and to those perverts out there...I may be gay, but I don't give a flyin flip for women's lingerie...
again...wtf am I gonna do w/ women's lingerie.
So, really, while she was a bit paranoid, assuming you wouldn't take it just because you are male might be overassuming. And you know what they say about assuming.
I don't trust anyone. Yes, most people are good. Most sales staff is fine. But the fact is, I don't know the vast majority of them from Adam. Hell, I don't even know Adam that well, and frankly, he strikes me as kind of shifty. Shady, even.Quoth siead_lietrathua View Postoh, and its not that i dont trust the sales staff, i dont trust the other customers.
That being said, I have no issue with the policies in question. If I am carrying something that I am not willing to part company with, for whatever reason, I shall either not enter the fitting rooms or, alternatively, go deposit said valuables in my vehicle for safekeeping, and try on my desired garments thereafter.
Either way, I don't make a stink about staff enforcing store policy. That's just silly.
