I'm so sorry you had to deal with such a-holes. From your posting, it sounds like you were much more calm and collected than I ever could have been. I'm not a violent or confrontational person, but this would probably put me over the edge.

Please please tell us you sent a lengthy and well-worded complaint to corporate. I can already see the wagons circling as they try to prevent a lawsuit from happening...

*wanders over to Juwl* I FOUND it... *holds up a tiny little box and glances inside to see it stuffed* Aren't you glad we got out of there?
It was so crowded! Someone's elbow always in my chin.

*looks into the 'stuffed box' and groans* I've seen pornos that start that way...

On the flipside, hey, plush box...

I'm confused. In case you miss my question in this post, you are saying that you were born a man and live as a woman, but you refer to yourself in that other thread as a "female to male transexual".

    Is that a typo?

Anyway, she was probably just jealous because you're prettier than her
    Agreed.

Sorry that happened to you, OP. I hate that there are people like that.
    Also, welcome.

If you don't fit in their nice neat little box they freak out.
Box? *raises her head and looks around for anything that looks like a box* Yeah, I'm so far outside the box, I got lost.

BTW, this is a web site of a friend of mine in CA. We worked together for a few years. One of the smartest and funniest people i know. You can get a good idea of what is entailed for the transition from male to female as well as a lot of other things from her.

Sweetheart...I know several 'men' who look so damn yummy as women sometimes I wonder if I'm not gay.

So yea ignore those loosers and come be with us insted, EQ has cookies...which we all steal.

As for changing genders I know a Mike who went to May, girl has better looks then me. *pouts* Her and her new hubby are currently trying to adopt, I've even offered up myself for help with that if needed. I'm the backup choice.

Somebody my mother knew went male to female (or female to male, to be honest, I can't recall exactly), and afterwards wanted to meet up with her for lunch. My dad, bless him, is and has ALWAYS been a old man set in his ways (even when he was young ), but he tries really REALLY hard to understand his unorthodox wife and kids. So he was kind of uncomfortable with my mom going out with her friend but was trying to be cool. So he tagged along with my mom to have lunch and was petrified, and kept asking things like "What do I call...him? Or...that, or..." Flustered and trying hard to stay correct, but just not quite there. Fortunately my mom and her friend got more of a laugh out of it than anything, because for all his verbal flailing, at least he was really making an effort.

There was also the time my mom and some of her friends planned to go hang out at a gay bar for the night (this was back in like the 70's or so), and he was kind of freaked at that and asking about it all day long. My mom finally rolled her eyes and said "It's a bar full of gay guys! What are they gonna do, hold us down and do our makeup?"

I have never got this. Never.
It is common sense to me that sometimes nature can screw up, and bombard someone with the wrong hormones, putting them in the wrong body when they are born. EVery other issue with human beings is dealt with by modern medecine, so why not this? Why not correct what went wrong, put them in the right body for a change?

Stupid people. If you don't fit in their nice neat little box they freak out.

    I wouldn't have done so.
