"The Medal of Honor is the highest award for valor in action against an enemy force ..."

That sounds about right. These (and all) sucky customers are clearly an "enemy force."

I asked them what they would like to substitute the spicy sausauge for. I had to ask several times, since she just kept arguing that I'd ordered the wrong thing for them. I was about to grab a blunt object and repeatedly smash her skull with it until she shut up, sending me directly to prison until testimony from eavesdropping customers earned me a Presidential pardon and the Congressional medal of honor for making the world a better place, but then she finally settled on some extra manicotti.
I know this site does not condone violence but that is flippin' hilarious!!!!!

Man, I don't miss waiting tables. I think I may be going a bit crazy though. I am in need of a part-time job and I am considering applying as a hostess somewhere.

[edit] I recalled a shift when I was working at Carrabba's. It was Mother's Day or Easter...one of those holidays and my first table was a 9 top. I thought, "Good way to start off the shift!" I couldn't have been more wrong. I think only one person ordered an ice tea, the rest ordered water. The entrees they ordered - 3 plates of lasagna. One split two ways, one split three ways, and one left whole. The others who did not eat lasagna ate soup and salad. They GORGED Themselves on the free bread.

My manager called me over with the expo ticket in his hand...my instructions typed below the lasagna - one split in two, one split in three. He had to ask me if I was joking. I kept that expo ticket on my corkboard at home for a long time. I was hoping it would serve as some kind of reminder that I really needed a new job.

        April Fools!
Really? Although it's only awarded to military personnel, it certainly does exist! The cmohs website isn't an April Fool's joke. BTW, there's a museum for the Medal of Honor on the USS Yorktown.

This is exactly why I never went into waitressing; I don't have the patience. XD All waitstaff must have the patience of saints to deal with idiots like this. O_o
