everyone seesm to be commenting on the 'controversial prof.'

the whole thing w/ppl not liking opinions being given by their profs only works if u DONT AGREE w/that opinion.

I mean I had a few teachers in college that I really liked.. but after chatting w/them fairly regularly after class af ew times etc. I realzied it's b/c their opinions about things were (for the most part) the same as MY opinions about things (so we got along, crazy I know).

well ok, cept for my philosophy prof (who was awesome) but would basically just disagree w/anything u said (in a poilte not assholeish way) in order to get u to basically see something FROM a diff P.O.V. whether or not it was his personal opinion on the matter @ hand or not.

My stock answer for my old college calling to ask for money is (truthfully) 'well im still paying back my student loans for the next couple years so i dont really have extra cash right now.' ive never jsut said 'NO MONEY FOR YOU!' and slammed the phone down.
