If somebody can rat on us for dressing up in silly costumes and having our pictures taken and posted in the breakroom, I can't see how this would be much different.
sorry...maybe it's just me but, i still can't see a correlation. one event does not equal the other, ne?

      The correlation is offence.

If one person was so offended by the costumes that nobody was allowed to post pictures of them, then neither should a staff member be permitted to display photos which offend the hug-a-furry-animal types in the staff.

Evidently IPF's company runs a "no offensive pictures" rule, thereby it would be entirely within that concept to report this person to HR for displaying offensive pictures.

Hunting for fun is only never fair
fixed that for you-hunting is not a "sport"-it should be done out of necessity for food and to cull large populations with no natural predators(that have usually been killed off for "sport"-see wolves/white-tailed deer for example)

Monkeys with automatic weaponry. I like it.

Honestly.... the image of that in my head made me go "AWESOME!"..... and then I remembered I am terribly strange.-Red dazes

I guess that person would not have liked the pics of my old Receiving manager dressed up for storytime in the Clifford costume...he had it on backwards...Clifford has a tail...

(no, he did not wear it out of the breakroom like that, and yes, we posted the pics on the bulletin board)

It was my opinion that a customer brought in the pictures...

what kinda employee would display that, anyway?

Let's keep it clean, guys. This is not a debate about animal hunting for sport vs food. This is about people leaving somewhat gory pictures lying around for all and sundry to see.
If ya'll want to debate about hunting, I have no problem with closing this thread, and redirecting to Fratching.

                Love and kisses,

                  well i will say this...
When somebody asks you what the pictures are pictures of, offhandedly tell them "If you're not a hunter, you may not want to look at them."
i'll stay away from "hunting is good vs hunting is evil" (fratching).

but i will say... at least he warned people before showing them the photos. it would have been ... rather rude... to just shove someone a photo album without warning them.

what kinda employee would display that, anyway?
Well the story i heard from my first ship was that one of the guys video taped his hunting trip. Then he brought it to the ship and they played it on the ship-wide system (this was before they had females on the ship).

Guy who told me the story also said someone sent a copy to an animal rights group. Now THAT was in bad taste... cos even tho the hunting was perfectly legal, sending the tape to one of those groups was just in bad manners.
