If anime has taught me anything (), "jiji" would work better.

Ah, I'd completely forgotten "jiji," "ji," and "ji-san"! Probably because it hasn't seen a lot of use in the anime/games I've been watching/playing lately. Good one.

Aside: You know you've been watching too much anime when you don't speak Japanese, but you can still catch the puns before the subtitles catch up.
