I apparently am now an uncaring bastard... I feel no sympathy for a guest who may miss his flight. He scheduled a shuttle at 6am for a flight at 7:15. He got down the to the lobby at 5:58. He asked the shuttle driver if he had time to get coffee... the shuttle driver told him that he had to leave right at 6, but he could be back by 6:15 for a second run if he wanted to go then (our schedule is based on weekday rush hour traffic, so on sundays we have a lot of leeway in what we can do as far as the shuttle is concerned). So of course, what does this guy do at 6:05... he comes to me to bitch and whine that the shuttle driver didn't wait for him and how leaving at 6:15 is just cutting it way too close... umm... he very bluntly told you that he had to leave right at 6 on this run (otherwise a greyhound driver wouldn't get out on time)... he assumed, as I did overhearing the conversation when you said "ok... I'll grab some food first then" that you were planning on going on the second run at 6:15... I'm pretty sure any intelligent person would make the same assumption.
Apparently that's where we all went wrong... now because we did exactly what we told him we'd do we are all uncaring bastards.
Oh well, on the bright side, the CSU cycling team is in house... and I wasn't actually listening to anything he said because I was too busy looking at the perfectly formed butt of one of the cyclists that was walking past... so I guess he was halfway right that I really didn't care about what he was saying at that time
