Not too terribly sucky... more odd than anything.
So i had a young man that at the beginning of the meal says, " I will just have a coke for now." At which point i inform him that i will card him if he does decide to order any alcohol. He said okay to this.
Well, after i bring him and his mate their order, i notice his coke is empty, so i ask if he wants a refill, he says no, but that he will have a *** light. I say, ok, may i see your id please?"
Now for some reason what i said didn't register with this fellow. he just stared at me for a good 20 seconds. After waiting during this very uncomfortable silence... i ask him for his id again. then he gets the idea that i am not going to put his order through until i see his elusive id. so he shows it to me, everything is kosher and i get his beer.
