Guest: Dave, I am upset....first off, I check into my villa and the furniture is very old and the place is very small and I dont like the setting. It's very grassy and muddy around me. I come to the front desk crying due to the horror I experienced here and they simply offered to move me somewhere else. Not one of them offered to console me. I am standing before them with tears in my eyes because of the worst vacation I have ever had and nobody consoles me. Not only that but when I requested to be moved to oceanfront at the same price, they tell me no. This is unbelievable that your company shows such a lack of compassion. I want to be on the ocean and I shouldnt have to pay more because I've been inconvenienced here.
Me: we have comparable properties available
Guest: Dave, I deserve an upgrade for what I have experienced today...not only because the unit was a dump but the fact that I was crying and got not one word of comfort from your desk staff.
Me: ok well I can let you speak to a manager
Guest: I did and she told me I have to pay to be upgrade......I cant stay here, Dave....this place is too hideous.....who is your general manager?
Me: he will be in Monday
Guest: no I need to talk to him now
Me: well he is not in until Monday
Guest: and what do you do in emergencies?
Me: well if this was an emergency, I'd contact him
Guest: and you dont think this is an emergency?

She ended up taking the comparable unit but made it known she wasnt happy about it and is speaking to a manager.
