Oh back to the original question, I have had many passengers trying to take my food. I no longer apologise, just state "that's MY food actually," and then ignore them. There is so much greed and I don't share food!

I haven't been on a flight that serves food in so long, I forgot what that's like. the little snack boxes that my normal airline serves are pretty good. If I'm hungry, I will buy a little extra. On the couple of flights that did have meal service, the food seemed pretty generous. Generous enough to where I didn't have to take food from stewardesses.
