...that more than likely shouldn't.
I just need to rant a bit and get this out of my system.
Most of this is things that bother me at work. I work in a call center for a prepaid cellular service.
1: Please listen to what I am saying. If I ask you for your dealer code do not give me a zip code. If I ask you for an area code do not give me a zip code. If I ask you for a phone number to not give me a prepaid card number. Seriously please just slow down and listen to me and this call will be over a lot faster.
2: When I repeat something to you for verification, say the ESN you just gave me, or your billing address it is not necessary to repeat it again. A simple yes or no is all that is in order. On that note, if what I sad was wrong it is not necessary to repeat everything to correct 1 digit or if I said the wrong city in your address I do not need your street information again.
3: Do not give me information I did not ask for yet. Yes this means you people making credit card payments. Yes I will eventually need you expiration date and the CVV code but please don't tell me what it is until I have asked for it, especially if the question I just asked you is what is your city state and zip code. You dealers out there, if I haven't asked for the ESN or PIN code please don't try to give it to me, I'm not ready for it yet.
3A: When I do finally ask for a piece of information please do not insult me by asking "Are you ready?" If I weren't ready I wouldn't have asked you to tell it to me.
4: Please don't say "Can you repeat that?" after giving me a piece of information. Bonus points if your saying that interrupts me in the process of doing just that. Extra bonus points if you were rude when asking me to repeat it. Yes this means you, yes you, that dealer who will finish giving me a piece of information and then say "Repeat!" very gruffly.
5: STOP MICROMANAGING ME - In case you haven't noticed the work you ask me to do gets done in a timely fashion. If I need help, I always ask for it. So please for the love of god stop asking me about it every 5 minutes and please don't tell me to do something else when you just asked me 30 minutes ago to do a project that you know takes an hour to complete. I'm not the only one sick of this. Everyone who works in the same department as me are all tired of being constantly shuffled around and having you look over our shoulders every 5 minutes. ( This is directed at management in case you can't tell
)
6: Stop lying, seriously, a good number of the lies people tell are blindingly obvious lies. No you did not submit this LNP request 3 hours ago. The time stamp on it says 5 minutes.
*heaves a big sigh*
Ok I feel better now. Mostly
