I've seen the plastic ones and I'd be happy to explain the injection molding process to you, if you like. After all, it's what I do, it's who I am.

The banana thing reminded me of a few summers back I helped my step-dad deliver ice during the summer rush, we had stopped a Kroger's to make a deliver when an elderly women walks up and asks if the ice is made straight from the river. We looked at each other like WTF?, we explained that yes the water might come from the river but its processed and chemicals removed, its not straight river water.

I'm sorry, but I just had to laugh about the artificial bananas in the can. Wow...

So... does this mean that a plastic bottle with a picture of water on it must contain... wait for it... ARTIFICIAL water?!?Quoth guitardude1987 View PostMe: *still making split* "Do they even...make artificial bananas?"
SC: "Yeah. They come in cans."
Me: "I think that's banana pudding."
SC: "No, no. It's got a picture of a banana on it."

Nothing made me hate humanity more than working the drive through. People make my head hurt. Artificial bananas? WHILE you were peeling said banana, even? After all, she said artificial ones came in a can of some sort right? So even in her weird little Nunavutian mind, she should have realized peel =|= can.
I think I may need to lie down for a bit.

You know, when I heard 'artificial bananas' all I could think of was an old marshmallow candy called 'Circus Peanuts'. They were peanut shaped but banana flavored.

At the 2 minute mark I'd tell them to pull around and when they've figured out what they want, they can come back through. There's no excuse for some vacuum brain to hold up the entire line because they can't figure out the difference between regular and diet and which one they want.Quoth guitardude1987 View PostI stood waiting (on the edge of my seat, I assure you) for around 10 minutes while a woman held up the drive through deciding on whether she wanted just plain Coke, or Diet Coke.
*twitch*Quoth guitardude1987 View PostI stood in front of a customer while making a banana split. As I peeled them, she asks "is that a real banana?"
Words fail me... I think my brain siezed up....

In my former industrial town, many people have not worked in years... a growing number of them lack the mental capacity to order a hamburger at the McRestaurant's drive thu. Besides having problems making simple decisions, I don't think they are aware of all people waiting behind them... or maybe they just don't care.Quoth guitardude1987 View PostI stood waiting (on the edge of my seat, I assure you) for around 10 minutes while a woman held up the drive through deciding on whether she wanted just plain Coke, or Diet Coke.

Artificial bananas? At least she didn't ask if banana pudding is yellow, like Munchkin did a few weeks ago
