Haven't posted anything in a while because most of the suck lately has been from the company with the rest of the suck coming from just the usual sucky customers.

Then there's this guy....

A little background - The company just finished moving all the support for Australia from another center to the one I work at. So this guy kinda got dumped on me (not the fault of the other employees, I'm not blaming them at all).

This guy has had a whole bunch of listing removed for very similar policies over the past several months (and even got a suspension out of it). We have told him MANY times how to comply with policy. By the time I get to deal with him, he's been carrying on with his latest tirade for a couple weeks and is targeting specific employees at this point (who were just laid off).

He's emailed us 32 times in the past 4 days, over 250 times in the past few months. This is just a small sampling of his emails.

Standard disclaimer: All identifying information has been removed to protect the guilty. (I'm not going to make fun of his spelling or grammar as I've seen MUCH worse.)

My comments are in italics.

Holsters are fine, it's that he was showing pictures of actual guns which is bad. My coworkers were giggling over the "gremlin germs" comment. This is the start of the bribery accusations.

This is actually pretty mild. The previous employees have told me this guy has accused them of being homosexuals and child molesters!

So it was time to put an end to this guy's ranting and abuses.

I send the guy a reply with very detail instructions on how to comply with policy (again), but with NO "fluff". I even told him he'd be suspended if he doesn't do what he's told. I then end with this little paragraph responding to his other comments and accusations:

In regard to your bribery accusations, I know of no employees that have accepted any bribes or would accept any if they were offered. If you have any proof of such activities, please send it to us so we can investigate. Otherwise, please stop accusing our employees of such activities and please keep both your listings and corrospondence with us civil and professional.

I then found another email that was sent to another department with similar abusive language. I kept the response short and sweet before forwarding it on:

Please keep your correspondence with us civil or we will delete your emails without responding.

I then set the system to send all his responses directly to me. He's not going get to deal with anyone but me from now on and I'm not going to put up with any of his crap.

That guy doesn't need to be selling things on ebay. He needs to be eating baby food and bouncing off rubber walls until the nice people in the white coats come by to give him his happy pills.

That language and grammer reminds me of a forum someone linked me to where they lead scam artists on and see how far they can yank their chains back. The threats were absolutly amazing. I'll have to seek if I can dig the link back up.

Question though about the holsters... what if you want to show what size guns they fit, or are holsters 'fits only one type of gun' type? Can you use cardboard cutout of the gun to show how it fits?

And wow...

I still can't get into my ebay account for some reason, and sadly too busy to call them or anything (I never get emails for new password either. bah).

So, Uh. From what I get he's this HUGE seller on some other site (ha, ha), you delete his listings because they show actual guns in the holsters, and he's whining because him and his wife spend hours and days setting up each listing.

I've sold less than 20 items on ebay (was thinking about it full-time, but decided against it), one thing I learned after doing a few items of the same type is create a *template* so you don't waste hours setting up each listing... and also!! also!! at least save what you put into that listing in case it gets doesn't sell (or in his case, gets deleted). Then it's not hard to fix, change a little here and there, and put it back up!

This guy is the type who gives eBay sellers around the world a bad name.

Can you imagine the emails you'd get if you had to leave bad Feedback for him?

And what the hell is he bringing Vero up for? That's only valid if a copyright holder is complaining about infringement. (and eBays' Vero rules pretty much make bootlegs ok if you pick a distributor that won't take the effort to complain... 'cause copyright infringement is only apparent if the victim themselves brings it up)

And the fact that he takes "hours" on his listings shows that he's either a liar, or he doesn't know what the hell he's doing in the first place. Since it appears he sells a large quantity of the same type of item, each subsequent listing should take only seconds.

On the other side of it, there are a bunch of eBay policies that don't seem to make any sense at all in the real world. Which is why I would go somewhere else if I had something to sell. I sure as hell wouldn't just break said policies and then start up a bitchfest for getting slapped down for it.

Yeah, most of the Australian people that write in are polite. This guy is definitely one of the exceptions.

As for the questions about the pictures and holsters and stuff - you can say what kind of gun(s) fit in the holster, you just can't have a real gun in the picture (convoluted reasoning on that one and I really don't feel like trying to explain it).

Also, the main thing this guy sells isn't holsters. I can't say what it is he usually sells because it would actually make him easy to find. As I mentioned in an earlier response: there's a LOT of it I cut out because of this.

I fully expect to have a whole bunch of messages from this guy waiting for me when I get back into the office on Saturday.
